Supercars Parade In England For Charity

Some of the world’s most exotic supercars will hit the roads in England next week as part of a special fundraising drive for Children in Need. Among the 20 supercars that will participate from the GROUP20 SuperCar Club stable include an Aston Martin DB9, Bentley Continental GTC, Ferrari F430, Porsche GT3, and a rare Pagani Zonda F Roadster – one of only 25 in the world, handmade in Italy, and worth around £600,000 or about $1.3 million. The total value of the cars is estimated at around £2 million or $4.2 million. -Continued after the jump

GROUP20 Associate Simon Grantley said: “This is probably the first time Pudsey has featured on the bonnet of such exclusive machinery, and we are hoping to raise a substantial amount of money for Children in Need from collections en route, as well as special evening auctions over the four-day event.”

Program: The launch event and the first auction in aid of Children in Need will take place at the GROUP20 head office in Rochester, Kent, on Tuesday evening November 13th. The parade will then leave Rochester on Wednesday morning, lead by the unique Sussex Police Force Lotus Exige S in full police livery and including blue flashing lights. London is the next destination, with the jaw-dropping collection of supercars stopping off at Hyde Park from around 11.30am to 12.30pm.

The cars will then head up to the Midlands via the A40 and M40, and after a drive around Birmingham City Centre they will head to hosts for the night, Mercedes Benz Wolverhampton, for that evening’s Children in Need auction. Thursday November 15th will see the cars driving to Wilmslow in Cheshire for lunch at The Rectory from 12-2pm, and then into Manchester for that evening’s Children in Need auction hosted by Audi Bolton.

On Friday November 16th the supercar spectacle heads back south, calling in at various BBC locations across the country to raise more money.
