Unveiled today at the Paris Motor Show, the 2009 Audi S4 sedan and Avant sport the newly introduced 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that pumps out 333 HP instead of the previous S4’s 344 HP 4.2-liter V8. But don’t let the numbers fool you; despite the lower output the new S4s are faster than there predecessors with the sedan accelerating from zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in 5.1 sec compared to the outgoing S4’s 5.6 sec. -ContinuedAnd on top of that, the 2009 S4 is also more fuel efficient consuming on average 9.7lt per 100 km, an improvement of 3.4 liters or a whopping 26 percent over the 4.2 V8 S4.
