VIDEO: 2011 Infiniti M56 and M37s Walkaround

In what could be one of the most tedious videos of the year, Nissan's luxury division, Infiniti, has released a seven minute long film with the exterior and interior details of its BMW 5-Series rival, the 2011 M premium sedan, which made its world premiere earlier this week. Under the hood, the new M37 gets a 330hp 3.7-liter V6 while the M56 debuts a 420HP 5.6-liter V8. Infiniti has also announced a hybrid variant for 2011 while in Europe, the M will be offered with a Renault-sourced, V6 diesel as well.

Infiniti: Watch the Live Presentation of the 2011 M Sedan and Revised 2010 G

Follow the break to watch a live webcast of Infiniti's media event at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills where the Japanese company will show the all-new new 2011 M sedan and its redesigned 2010 G, as well as announce details on the 2011 QX SUV and its hybrid plans.

VIDEO: Watch the Virtual Presentation of the 2011 Infiniti M

In addition to the first photos and details on the all-new 2011 Infiniti M, the Japanese automaker has now released a video from the official presentation of its BMW 5-Series rival that took place at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Infiniti's flagship sedan model, which is scheduled to go on sale across the world starting from spring 2010, wasn't actually there as the Japanese automaker used virtual technology mapping to project the car on a full-size clay model. Video: Infiniti G37 Convertible on the Road, See the Retractable Hardtop in Action

Nissan's upscale Infiniti division lifted the veil off the 2009 G37 Convertible at the Los Angeles Motorshow and from what we've heard, the initial reactions appear to be positive. We've already posted plenty of high-resolution photographs along with a detailed article on the four-seater convertible but this is the first time that we get the chance to see the car and its retractable hardtop in action. But as with the case of the 370Z promo film, Nissan/Infiniti has once again forgotten (?) to add sound to the video. Well, this time we decided to break the silence by including a 1996 song called 'Mint Car' by the British group 'The Cure'. Check out the video after the jump.

Geneva Video: 2009 Infiniti FX50 Debut

Continuing our video stream of the Geneva Show presentations, here’s the unveiling of the second generation FX (pics & details) that will lead Infiniti’s entry into the Western European market starting from October 2008. Displayed along with three other Infiniti models at the Geneva Motor Show, the G37 Sedan, G37 CoupĂ© and EX37, the FX50 is powered by a new 390 Hp 5.0-liter V8 engine. The FX range will be enhanced with the addition of a V6-powered model, details of which will be announced at a later date. US sales are expected to start in June 2008. Video after the jump

Video: 2010 Infiniti M Scooped on Film

When one of our readers sent us this spy video link last week, the first thought that passed our mind was the 2009 Nissan Maxima. However, we decided to cross-check it with some of our inside sources and guess what; this isn’t the 2009 Maxima but the 2010 Infiniti M! The prototype was caught testing in Arizona, and from what our sources told us, Infiniti’s BMW 5-Series adversary will make its debut in late 2009 or early 2010. As with the recently facelifted model (see here), the new “M” will be offered with V6 and V8 engine units while customers will also be able to choose between rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive versions. -Video after the jump

Video: 2007 BMW 335i vs 2008 Infiniti G37

The boyz over at Edmund’s Insideline compare two of the hottest luxury GT’s in the market today: the 2007 BMW 335i Coupe with Infiniti’s 2008 G37 Coupe. Don’t expect any power drifting scenes though as Insideline’s video is what we’d call, “a visualized version of a mainstream magazine comparison test”. Regardless if you agree or not with the verdict (we won’t tell you who won, see the vid!), we’ll give thumbs up to the folks at Insideline for managing to compress all their thoughts in just over four minutes. Besides, not everyone cares to see a couple of 300+ Hp rear-wheel drive luxury coupes drifting and burning rubber, do they...
